DA Safety Anesthesia Monitoring System
The plastic surgery department has improved the safety anesthesia monitoring system that applies the 1:1 dedicated anesthesia system,
a systematic anesthesia process at the level of a university hospital, to all surgeries from relatively simple local anesthesia to general anesthesia.
The DA plastic surgery clinic announced
that it has improved the safety anesthesia monitoring system that
is directly connected to the safety of patients during surgery to improve the
medical environment.
Unlike the on-site anesthesia system, six anesthesiologists reside and operate, and the 1:1 dedicated anesthesia system, a systematic anesthesia process at the level of a university hospital,
is applied to all surgeries from relatively simple local anesthesia
to general anesthesia.
In particular, the entire process of
surgery is monitored in real-time, the patient's condition is also checked in
real-time, and preparations for special situations that may occur by situation
were strengthened.
First, it had Dantrolene, a special treatment medicine, in preparation for malignant hyperthermia, enabling rapid early treatment by anesthesiologists.
As early treatment of malignant hyperthermia is important due to its low occurrence rate but high mortality rate,
dantrolene has already been introduced to all operating rooms since the
opening of the hospital and the placement has been completed.
In addition, an anesthesiologist checks the patient's breathing and pulse conditions before and after surgery until consciousness is restored,
and conducts real-time ETCO2 monitoring to enable early treatment by early detection before body temperature rises when malignant hyperthermia occurs.
In addition, it is equipped with a heart shock device, an emergency kit, and an uninterruptible power supply USP that can supply normal power in the event of a power outage,
enabling us to deal with emergency and unexpected situations.
After surgery, a body temperature
maintenance device Warm Air against hypothermia is also provided to
stabilize the patient's body temperature.
An official from The DA Plastic Surgery Clinic said, The anesthetic method and the amount of anesthesia vary depending on the patient's physical condition or past medical history.
An anesthesiologist who can determine and implement anesthesia according to the patient's condition, said, Customers will be able to undergo surgery in a safer environment to prevent emergencies during surgery
by monitoring and analyzing the patient's blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen saturation in real-time.
